"Nothing in the world was ever accomplished without passion and a lot of hard work."
I am grateful for you to be looking at our site in the hopes that one day we meet and APT may help you achieve your goals. My journey with aquatic rehabilitation started at the age of 19 when I was told I would never be able to play impact sports again because I needed to have my shoulder replaced. Out of desperation I found some relief from my surgery and physical therapy in the water, but that was only the start of my journey.
I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Saint Augustine. While attending the school I taught multiple semesters of aquatic therapy to other health professionals to enhance their knowledge and understanding of aquatic benefits. Over the last 10 years I have developed a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) accreditation in aquatic rehabilitation and physical performance training, and Aquatic Performance Training has helped develop cutting edge training that has helped thousands of people who struggled with pain, injuries, surgeries, weight loss, and wellness.
Now that we have opened our separate therapy company, we are able to blend our unique exercise and wellness methods with physical therapy and aquatic therapy treatments. I have worked with thousands of clients and patients that are looking for a chance to feel good again or what I like to call their "what comes next" moment when they are done physical therapy or they have tried other programs that do not work for them.
Our specialty areas for aquatic therapy and physical therapy include helping patients who are looking to change their life:
Multiple Sclerosis
Bariatrics
Arthritis
Geriatrics
Balance Issues
Our goal is to create the safest, most effective physical therapy and wellness programs together to allow our patients the opportunity to not just feel less pain but to experience the greatest life possible.
