We have Different Aquatic Sports Classes and Programs to Suit Your Needs

At APT, we want to make sure that your body keeps changing, progressing and that you find enjoyment and excitement from our programs. To do this, we regularly change routines so that complacency is never an option.

With different programs, our Monroe aquatic sports classes include our Cycle Mix program and Strength and Cardio sessions, you are sure to find one that meets your needs. When you book a visit with us, we will find out more about you and give you our professional opinion on the right program for you.

During our aqua cycle classes, you can expect to spend time both on and off the aquatic bikes. This class is designed for excellent strength training.

Our Strength and Cardio sessions offer aquatic resistance training that uses specialized drag resistance equipment, and this class will involve working your whole body. While this class does not use the aquatic bikes, you can still expect to be challenged throughout and burn between 500-600 calories.

If you are looking to lose weight, combining our aquatic programs with healthy eating is important. But don't worry, we are here for you for that too. We can offer nutritional guidance so that you can begin to see the changes, and these will keep coming as long as you stick to it and keep attending your program.

We can help you to enjoy exercise safely in the water. Where land-based exercise may have previously left you injured, being in the water can be a welcome relief, and you are a lot less likely to suffer from injuries. Water helps to move the lactic acid around your body and also prevents muscle trauma from occurring.

To make sure that your health is in the best hands, we have qualified instructors who are experienced in training clients in an aquatic setting.

We offer both Monroe aquatic group classes and personal training so that you can choose the best method for you. In our group classes, you will join with other like-minded people to complete your program, and the classes can have up to 25 people in them. Booking your class is a must to make sure that there are enough equipment and space for you.

Alternatively, if you are looking to return to exercise after an injury or surgery or you want maximum attention, then we would recommend our personal training sessions.

Cycle Mix

Combines both the aquatic cycle bike with full body drag resistance equipment. This class will have working both on the bike and off the bike to experience a greater strength training class. Be prepared to be working your core, hips, and upper body during the portion of the class when you are off the bike.

Strength & Cardio

Enjoy a challenging class that will involve your core, balance, upper body, lower body and cardiovascular demands. We will utilize our specialized drag resistance equipment to connect the whole body together for an amazing program. There are no aquatic cycle bikes during this class.

Our Programs

Private Training

Come 2-3 times per week working one on one with an exercise physiologist. This program is geared to the client that wants maximum attention, accountability, correction and is result driven. Perfect for the client that is looking to change their lives, lose weight, recover from an injury/surgery, and get into a more consistent habit of health and wellness. You will be working with an exercise physiologist one on one each session for 45 minutes. During your private program you will be going through the different phases of our training program that will provide you with amazing results such as weight loss, toning, flexibility, core strength, and better balance.​

Group Training

3 core programs that will be amazing for your body and results. Each program will be changed into new phases and routines every quarter keeping your interest, results, and energy high. ** You must reserve your spot in our  group programs 24 hours in advance to ensure organization and proper equipment availability.**
